The Hyde Park Cooperative Society, Inc. ceased operations in January 2008 and is in the process of a voluntary liquidation. All available resources will be utilized in connection with payment to our creditors. As Members, there will not be any payments made for the redemption of the equity funds invested in the entity.

The loss of your investment in the Coop will result in a capital loss for Federal income tax purposes for the 2008 tax year. Please consult your tax advisor as to how this may be utilized by you in the preparation of your 2008 tax return.
