The Hyde Park Cooperative Society no longer runs the Co-Op Market, which was closed on January 28, 2008. Member shares are now valueless. Members may count the value of their shares as a tax write-off on 2008 forms (see this tax notice).
Though the Market is closed, the Society remains intact as a cooperative community institution. Its Board welcomes you to take part in discussions that may lead a redefinition and renewal of its purposes.
